In light of the news that the Project on International Peace & Security will be taking a three-year hiatus, the PIPS Alumni Network will host two Zoom Town Halls to allow all of us an opportunity to discuss and digest the news among friends. PIPS Research Symposium
The Project on International Peace and Security’s 2024 Symposium, featuring PIPS Fellows presenting policy solutions to emerging threats in international security will take place at DACOR Bacon House, 1802 F Street NW, Washington DC 20006. Doors will open at 6:00 pm, and a reception will follow.

PIPS Alumni Holiday Party
Please join us January 27th for the 2024 Holiday Party!
Join the PIPS Alumni Network at The DACOR Bacon House to celebrate the new year and reconnect with old friends at this year's Holiday Party. Doors open at 6:00 pm and a light dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. Wine and beer will be served throughout the evening.
Tickets are $25 per individual for PIPS Alumni, including those who have been Military Fellows and Mentors, and their guests. Current students may attend free of charge!* Cocktail attire is requested.

2023 Conversation Series: Dr. Mike Vickers | By All Means Available
You are invited to join the PIPS Alumni Network and the OSS Society at the historic Cosmos Club on Thursday, October 5th from 6:00 to 9:30 pm for a fireside conversation to discuss Dr. Mike Vickers's new memoir, By All Means Available: Memoirs of a Life in Special Operations, Intelligence, and Strategy.
PIPS Movie Night
PIPS alum (‘15-16) Graeme Cranston-Cuebas hosts us for a movie night, featuring a fine wine tasting and screening of Charlie Wilson’s War. Wine, beer, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Conversation Series: A Life in Public Service
Join us as Walt Slocombe, Clarke Cooper, and Angela Dickey regale us with tales from their storied careers in national security and foreign service. A cocktail hour on the patio (indoors if weather is inclement) will precede the evening's program.

Arrival: several metrobus stops and street parking are available nearby. The closest metro stop is Howard/Shaw, but expect an extensive walk. Rideshare is recommended.
